Agreed. No one wants that, rather something like
http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/v/vim/vim_7.1.293-3/changelog

I did try several variants before I posted, but didn't list them all....
Looking for lenny or testing also reveals nothing, but directly querying
lenny's version number does:

Directly querying unstable's package number does not work:

I guess there might be something wrong with either aptitude or the
