OK, that means I'm missing a few things. So I installed a few of the
missing pieces (ffmpeg, lame, and plugins-bad) and it seems to me that
plugins-bad is the piece that happens to handle the http streaming
part.

So I'm getting closer, but still no go.

(I snipped an earlier failed attempt to install the package).
