actually, I've seen it both ways. I was logged in, switched to her. ABOUT 10 
minutes of playing sudoku and my screen went blank, then I was greeted with 
the login screen with my login showing. hitting MENU-switch user showed her 
logged in and I was able to switch to her.

I didn't put a stop watch on it.

hmm.. not sure.. I assume since she was already logged in, it only happened 
when she switched from me to her at night, but...

I had already removed the gnome screensaver, but MY (KDE) screensaver is set 
for 10 minutes. I just now disabled it.

fonts?? how would I know? I don't play with fonts at all.
