Liberation Fonts on Debian Etch

Hey guys,

When I installed Etch for the first time, I installed msttcorefonts. I recently heard of the liberation fonts provided by red hat that is supposed to be of much better quality than msttcorefonts and is provided in an open license.

My question is, how do I go about installing this and using it exclusively? I am not too familiar with fonts in linux. I don't use GNOME or KDE (I use DWM). So a command line way of installing it would be required.

Thanks!
Amit
