I never tried, but I suppose there should be no difficulty in grabbing 
the Debian source packages and compiling them in Ubuntu.

On the other hand, Iceweasel is just Firefox with another name and icon. 
The rest is all the same, so I see no reason not to use the Ubuntu 
package of that.
