Well, it looks like you might have a dns issue now. I would suggest you verify your dns settings in /etc/resolv.conf. It should look something like this:
search your.domain
nameserver 1.3.5.7
nameserver 2.4.6.8

of course, these will be dependent on your network/isp settings. You could check these against one of your other systems that are up and running.
