Problem with Lenny / Intel 82801G (ICH7) and line-in



Hi!

After installation of Debian/Lenny I have problems with the microphone/line-in jack of my Dell Latitude D820 using ALSA. It does not work. (In Windows XP it works without problems)

The configuration is the following:

Debian Lenny on 2.6.21-2-686 with DELL Latitude D820,

00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 01)


alsa-base:
  Installed: 1.0.14-2

alsa-utils:

alsaconf tells me "Unloading ALSA sound driver modules: snd-hda-intel snd-hda-codec snd-pcm-oss snd-mixer-oss snd-pcm snd-timer snd-page-alloc."

hda-intel Intel Corpation 82801G (ICH7 Fa....

The hardware seems to be detected. Sound is there but recording does not work.

Any suggestions?
