You've likely tried all the normal tricks for a printer, but, just in
case, here are my generic suggestions (I'm not familiar with the
specific printer):

Check out http://localhost:631/, and see if you can configure your
printer there (assuming you have cupsys installed).

Install printconf, and run it in your terminal as root.  

Install foomatic-filters-ppds and/or linuxprinting.org-ppds, and try
http://localhost:631/ and/or printconf once again.
