Update -- maybe troubles in advance...

Hi,

I got in troubles when I tried to update debian this week. I use dselect to do that. When I used "dselect install", it uninstall several gnome packages.

If you use apt to that some gnome packages are uninstalled, too.

Identification: uname -a --> Linux sala15 2.6.18-4-486 #1 Mon Mar 26 16:39:10 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
Debian flavour: $ more /etc/apt/apt.conf
APT::Authentication::TrustCDROM "true";
Acquire::::Proxy "false";
APT::Default-Release "testing";

I attached both feedback to alert people that use both tools to upgrade your package.

Please, don't try to say to use aptitude or automatic Ubuntu tool to upgrade my system . I think both tools are not so transparent as dselect and apt-get about I`m doing in the upgrading.
