Hi David,
You can listen via a stand alone media player as has already been mentioned
or by the mplayer plugin for your browser such as Firefox. All BBC radio
programs can also be read using the realplayer plugin or the realplayer
stand alone player. So it's really quite easy and you have a lot of choice.
