Hello,
I use twinkle as SIP phone, somtimes it works fine, sometimes it freezes
and in this case when I kill it I get:

kbuildsycoca running...

X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3
  Major opcode: 7
  Minor opcode: 0
  Resource id: 0x2800188

Processus stoped

Is the problem comes from debian or from twinkle ?

cat /etc/issue: Debian GNU/Linux lenny/sid \n \l
uname -r : 2.6.18-4-amd64
apt-cache show twinkle | grep Vers: Version: 1:1.0-3

Hi Gerard,
All I can tell you is that I also use Twinkle, which I think is fantastic
BTW, and have never encountered any freezing or crashing of any kind. I'm
running Twinkle 1.0 on Debian Lenny 2.6.18 behind a router and using a stun
server.
I agree with you twinkle is a good job, best than all the others that I tried.
Perhaps it's my box which causes the problem ?
I have a laptop acer aspire 5102wlmi AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-50 stepping 02
Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc SB450 HDA Audio (rev 01)
VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RS482 [Radeon Xpress 200M]

What type of machine you have ?
