Just tried it, it works with my .odg

I tried this but powerpoint is landscape outlay not portrait so the image goes off the page... But I looked at the export options in OO in OO Draw and noticed that there was more than just the PDF option..... EMF (enhanced meta file) is in there....

This is OK for Windows so I used it.
