Yes, Sven, "Visible" is ticked for the Crossover menu. But still, not visible!

If you select "Applications" in Alacarte, is "Visible" ticked for the
Crossover menu?

Actually, GNOME doesn't use the Debian menu system, it uses the
freedesktop.org
menu specification.
