Thanks. But I would rather have a system that just works. The reason why
I am worrying about Stable is partially because I guess I may want to
use some new features that are not available in Stable and installing
them from source code may cause bigger trouble...

And BTW, one main point I like Debian is that its package management
system is so user friendly and easy to use that I can set things up and
keep them up-to-date easily without the need of knowing the details. In
most cases I even do not need to modify those configure files. It just
works, and works fine. I like this style :)
