apt-mirror trouble when using local repo

Hi,

I got Debian DVD Etch src iso files which I'd like loop-mount and use
as my repo sources for apt-mirror to use. This is so that I don't have
to start from scratch downloading all those files before proceeding on
to using network sources. Unfortunately I get this problem:

"""
su - apt-mirror -c apt-mirror
Downloading 4 index files using 4 threads...
Begin time: Tue Mar 20 14:54:45 2007
[4]... [3]... [2]... [1]... [0]...
End time: Tue Mar 20 14:54:45 2007

Proceed indexes: [Ssh: /data/disc1///dists/etch/main/source/Sources:
Read-only file system
]

4.2 GiB will be downloaded into archive.
Downloading 8995 archive files using 20 threads...

[20]... [19]... [18]... [17]... [16]... [15]... [14]... [13]...

0.0 bytes in 0 files and 0 directories can be freed.
Run /var/spool/apt-mirror/var/clean.sh for this purpose.
"""

Is it because apt-mirror can't accept non-network repos as source
repos since, in my case, it doesn't place them into
"/data/apt-mirror/mirror/" as I asked in the attached config file?
