If you have another Linux machine on your network, then I would
recommend a netboot install.  Basically, you setup a dhcp server and a
tftp server on your machine, which then serves up the installer kernel
and the base packages (or all the packages if you download them),
allowing you to do the install without the need to boot any physical
media.
