Re: konqueror is slow

I add the same problem and two things helped me a lot:

- add the following in your /etc/environment (create the file if you don't 
have one) : KDE_NO_IPV6=TRUE

- install the nscd package and make sure it's running (installing it should be 
enough)

and please, don't ask me why :)
