Hi Ken,
I like Nvu also and I'm running Etch. I converted and rpm package using
alien that I got on their website. It runs fine on Etch. If you want to
stick with Nvu then you can. I don't think they've changed it since 2005 so
if you can find an old Sarge package that should be ok as well.
