search for "vmware-any-any update"

infact, here:

http://ftp.cvut.cz/vmware/vmware-any-any-update108.tar.gz

Download that extract it and then run the "runme.pl" in the subdir. It
will patch the config source and then call vmware-config.pl

Make sure you have linux-headers-2.6-"kernel flavor" installed.

Once you have that, it'll be good.
