problem installing Intel icc with gcc

I can install Intel's icc compiler v9.0 on my unstable Debian system (ta
Daniel for make_deb) but when I try and compile I get the following
error. Any ideas on what I've done wrong?

michael@p3-450:~/C$ icc -V test.c

Here's a list of gcc/g++ packages installed
