can't configure emacs with aptitude/apt-get!
Hi,
I've been having trouble with emacs21 after doing an upgrade from the
testing repository. I tried everything I could think of, including
uninstalling all emacs components and reinstalling. At first this was
only inconvenient, but now I can't reinstall ess -- this is a major part
of my daily work! I tried googling the error messages, but I didn't find
anything that I could understand. What appears to be the pertinent
output from aptitude or apt-get follows. Please help!!
Thanks,
Tyler
