I've used the rescue mode.  The first time was right after install when
grub didn't get installed.  Since the focus of the CD is installation, I
figured I'd look for a CD/USB where the focus was on rescue of a Debian
LVM on Raid on SATA setup.  I'm just trying to fill my toolbox before I
need it.
