postgres installation on debian

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to remove postgresql-8.1 form my box and I get this error message:

I already tried to change the user id and group id from the file “/etc/passwd” and “/etc/group”.

But it didn’t work. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Hi everyone

What’s the file where the users info are located? Passwords, ids, …

I need to change the user id of my postgres user.
