Hi Manuel,
I am not aware of any specific software for the Insurance industry. You
might check freshmeat.net and sourceforge for something. Although there
may be something that can be adapted to his/her needs. Maybe he/she can
write a specification this software and see if anyone may want to do it.
There are even people who create monitary bounties for software.
