No. ia64 is "Itanium". You want the amd64 kernel.
Well, actually, you *want* an Opteron CPU, but that's a totally

Is "common sense" really valid?
For example, it is "common sense" to white-power racists that
whites are superior to blacks, and that those with brown skins
