I also use yahoo once or twice a week and have never seen this, and I
have the same version of firefox as above.  Just in case it matters, I
am using the original version of Yahoo! mail.  I tried out the beta
for a very brief time and didn't like it, and switched back.  Could
the interface be part of the problem?
