Re: help needed: after recent dist-upgrade, openoffice 2.0.4rc3-1 hangs with FUTEX_WAIT
Problem fixed.
After some googling, it turned out that obviously starting from 2.0.3, the environment variable SAL_ENABLE_FILE_LOCKING (which has been defined in /usr/bin/soffice for some time) at last took effect, causing these hangs when working with a NFS mounted user. Commenting the two lines in /usr/bin/soffice gave me access to my documents again.
Sigh..
