I would feel safer getting Netscape 4 from ftp.netscape.com. If it's not there, people can get it from old (and possibly modern) Slackware CDs. However, unofficial web sites sometimes place backdoors in the programs they provide.

Very true, however evolt.org is quite reputable. It is one of the oldest
web development communities in existence.

Besides, it's the only resource I know of, that one can find all the browsers
in existence from the past, in one place. The evolt organization has
put a lot of effort into helping professional web developers. :)
