Not surprising.  The DVD standard requires that MPEG2 video have dimensions
of 720x480 for NTSC and 720x576 for PAL.  The standard requires that these
files always be played back at 4:3 aspect ratio, rather than their native. 
AVIDemux doesn't know that.
