Fonts and latex support

Hi

Upgraded from Sarge to Etch, I noticed that my CJK Latex does not work any
more -- nothing at my part changed, only the system. Having looked into
the problem I found that the the latex support files of the font packages
that I installed are missing. 

For example, 

  dpkg -L ttf-arphic-gkai00mp

only gives me several lines in my system, while

  http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_contents.pl?searchmode=searchword&case=insensitive&version=testing&arch=i386&word=gkai&page=4&number=50

ie, the official file listing of the ttf-arphic-gkai00mp returns 4 pages
of files (~200). The ones that I'm missing are the latex support files,
namely the enc files, and tfm files. 

Does it happen to you? What's the solution?
