installer beta2 and beta3 bug?

Hi!

I have installed etch beta2 and beta3 in several
boxes, without any problem, but yesterday, i have a
problem:

boxes: intel d975x pentiumD 2G of ramm

the instalation began without problem, but in the
first boot, the box says, there are no bootable
devices!!

if i conecct any disc alredy instaled (debian, fedora,
nexenta, solaris 10, windogs xp, netbsd, etc.), the
system boots with no problem.

If i connect any disc installed with the beta2 or
beta3, the system says: no bootable device.

if i installed grub of and old system in the disk,
still no boot.

if i installed new grub in and old system, the boxes
boot.

i can't install the sistem with an old installer,
because it doesnt recognise the net card and other
devices.

I ended up installing the old system (debian
netinstall 3-jun-05), in another box, updated the
kernel (it installed with 2.6.8, i updated to
2.6.16-2-686-smp), and put those disc in the boxes.
The boxes are working now with no problem.

It is no the grub, is somthing else that the old
installer do, and beta2 and beta3 doesn't.

Any ideas?
I should fill a bug report?

Thanks
Bye.
