I don't think this makes sense, since the files must live on the
hard drive anyway, for persistence.

With 4GB of RAM, there should be very little disk usage anyway (only
when you load the apps), which will accomplish your goal, but using
a different method.

Is "common sense" really valid?
For example, it is "common sense" to white-power racists that
whites are superior to blacks, and that those with brown skins
