floppy0.present = "TRUE"
floppy0.fileName = "bootit"
floppy0.startConnected = "TRUE"

but it keeps on complaining that it can't connect
to "bootit"..

bootit is a floppy-image

Is bootit in the same location as the vmx file?
Also, is bootit the full name of the floppy image? It looks as if it
has no extension.
