Re: eliminating implicit rules in makefiles

Learn autoconf and automake.
This is a non-answer. Make never should have been burdened by these
default rules, and having them prsent is a defect or flaw. So, how
about answering the question: Is there a way to turn off the default
rules? If not, then I suggest that one be added.

You have found the bank of Larn.
I can explain it for you, but I can't understand it for you.
