/dev/lp0 - Permission denied after CUPS upgrade
After upgrade I am not able to print with my user.
Please, see the out put commands:
~$ ls -la /dev/lp0
crw-rw---- 1 root lp 6, 0 2006-06-13 07:16 /dev/lp0
If I chang de /dev/lp0 owner by:
~$ sudo chown lp /dev/lp0
~$ ls -la /dev/lp0
crw-rw---- 1 lp lp 6, 0 2006-06-23 07:07 /dev/lp0
It prints without any problem.
But, when I restart my system, /dev/lp0 returns to previous owner, root:
~$ ls -la /dev/lp0
crw-rw---- 1 root lp 6, 0 2006-06-13 07:16 /dev/lp0
and I need to change it again!
Could you help me? I post this problem in my native language list
(http://lists.debian.org/debian-user-portuguese/2006/06/msg00578.html)
but I dosent get any solution!
Could you send the answer/comments/suggetions direct to my mail?
Thank you very much
