I've installed debian in a server environment using testing. (Spare the use-stable-for-servers rhetoric, it's a test server.) Kdm starts fine, but if I switch to a VT and then back to X, only junk shows up on the screen, and X does not respond to CTRL+ALT+anything, meaning the box is locked. (Things are still running, because I can ssh in, but X doesn't even respond to SIGKILL.) The output of `lspci -v` is attached. Googling on the video card does not seem to yield any information on this problem. -- Chris Howie http://www.chrishowie.com -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GCS/IT d-(--) s:- a--->?
