weird partition info

Hi,

everything seems to work fine, but what do think of the confusing
output below (Sorry for the length of it!)? I tried fdisk and sfdisk,
and both yield different results. Cfdisk even refused to write
partition tables to sde and sdf, giving only 'Illegal command' as an
error message.

The disks sda to sdd are real SCSI disks, sde and sdf are SATA
disks.

Do I have to worry about loosing data?

BTW, the performance is questionable. Running Quake4 from a RAID1
partition appears to be less fluent than running it from a non-RAID
SCSI disk. Percieved speed when reading and writing data from a SATA
RAID1 is the same as when reading from a single SCSI disk. I would
have expected a RAID1 on modern disks to be noticeably faster than a
single non-RAID, about 6 or 7 years old SCSI disk at least when
reading, though. But it seems that SATA is still too much like IDE
... So SATA is something I won't recommend unless a hardware RAID
controller is being used. Disks really become a bottleneck.
