thanks for the hint!  I installed it and it works as expected except
for one thing: I would like to feed my packet selection as retrieved
from "dpkg --get-selections", and have 'apt-proxy' handle all these --
instead of just streaming/caching.

Anyway, it improves my package upgrading!
