RE: System booting to the GRUB prompt instead of menu



Hmm...now that you mention it, I don't recall seeing it.  I don't have my laptop infront of me right now, but I'll be sure to check it out when I get home tonight.  /boot/grub/grub.conf -> /boot/grub/menu.lst   right?

Maybe it isn't. Do you have a /boot/grub/grub.conf file?
