Xorg problems when trying to play videos onto a TV with an nvidia card



Hi all,

I am experiencing problems after I upgraded my kernel to the latest version Linux spud 2.6.16-1-686 #1 Mon Apr 3 12:53:40 UTC 2006 i686 GNU/Linux. I used to use the official nvidia driver model  NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-7664 perfectly with all my other kernels but I had no joy getting it to work with the 2.6.16 kernel so I decided to upgrade my nvidia driver to NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8756, the install all went fine I get the nvidia boot screen on bootup etc. So I am not getting any problems from that.

The driver even plays videos with mplayer but the problems start when I try and play a movie through my tv with TwinView, I have to do ctrl-alt-plus and then play the movie but when that happens I just get a blue screen inside mplayer and nothing will work and when I revert back to normal (ctrl-alt-minus) and try and play a movie again I also get a blue screen until I restart X. When I checked the logs in /var/log/syslog

Has anoyne ever came across this problem or know how to sort it out? I have included my xorg.conf and the relevant log files below for you to understand more about the configs.
