mount problem (I think)
Hello,
I have two dell precision 3800 with debian, they should be identical
same memory, same disks, same video, .... I installed one and I coloned it to
second, so my guess is that the two computers are identical. In both computers
I have a partition that I export to a sgi octane with irix 6.5.29.
So I have /debian1/tmp and /debian2/tmp. In both directories I
copied three files, file1 is 2.4M, file2 2.1M and file3 5.9M.
When I am in the sgi working with a program compiled only for sgi, I
can read and manipulate the three files from /debian1/tmp, but when I try to
acces the files in /debian2/tmp I got the following error message in the sgi
unix: WARNING: RPC/TCP from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2049 - multi-fragment records are not supported. Closing connection
As I think both debian computers are identical I can not find the
problem, could anybody help me?
Thanking you in advance
