My FileServer is a AMD Sempron 2200+, 256 MB Ram, Intel e1000) and my
workststion too.

I get around 6,7 MByte/Sec under 100 MBit and around 18 MByte/Sec
under GigaBit.  (later because laking of PCI-X bus)

I use the nfs-kernel-server
