I want as small and stripped down a system as possible, and I am quite happy with the versions of commands provided by busybox. It replaces a whole bunch of commands from a variety of packages, but I can not find a list of those packages. Presumably also some of those are part of the base system (marked essential?) so how can I remove them without apt-get complaining? David
