Alright thanks guys for your replies, I've ordered a set of debian CDs to be mailed to me due to the amount of CDs this distro has and I lookforward to using this distro on my HP NetServer LH3R :D

i believe the standard sarge installer does (it uses linux 2.4); whereas
the 'linux26' option to the installer does not. i have never examined
this oddity further.
