Xprt is part of the xprint package. As I said, in my reply to myself,
I had removed xprint but not a call to it in my cupsys reset script.

I don't currently have Konqueror installed.

lpr (/usr/bin/lpr) is part of the cupsys-bsd package. If your running
cups, you should have cupsys-bsd installed as well. ISTR when I was
having a problem printing, I didn't have a /usr/bin/lpr either. I do
now and, since getting rid of xprint/xprt-xprintorg I finally have
printing working again.
