There are many options. Do you actually need the file physically
transferred and two copies? Or just access to the information on
both machines? NFS may be a solution, or ssh if just access is
needed.

You haven't stated what you are trying to accomplish, and without
that information we can't be of much help. You've decided on a
solution, and asked how to implement the solution, but you haven't
stated the goal, so it's diffcult to help you achieve it.
