Today, I took the flash drive of concern to work, plugged it in to the Dell
3000 WinXP box at my desk and Winders grabbed it and let me browse it like
there was no tomorrow.

Bizarrely, I brought it home tonight, and finally got ready to start up the
fight with it, and it plugged in, and I was able to mount it as vfat slicker
than lithium grease.

Then I checked out an SD card in my card reader, and it too was a breeze to
mount when I finally figured out what device it was.

I have not checked out my Digicam, but it is seen too as a mass storage
device.

With all these toys, maybe you all are starting to understand why I like
automounting for them.

Now, all linux politics aside (if you don't like auto mounting don't post to
this thread!) how can I get these tools to automatically get mounted in
Debian? Ubuntu and Mandrake did it very easily, but I would hate to go back
to them, Debian is where I want to stay.
