Hi Piotr,
I have a photography friend with a similar situation. The idea solution
would allow you catalog the image name-cd name with metadata like notes
and a thumbnail. So you can look at thumbnails quick and show metadata.
And if needing the image, it would simply popup a message like 'use cd
XYS' You dont want to remake the cd's and add metadata and thumbnails to
it because that would take loads of time and suck x-) And you dont want
to have all of the files on a HD. I have not seen anything that can do
this on Gnu/Linux. Thus as others have said, SOMEONE needs to write
this. Not a great answer, but my only thought.
