You can build it from source. I hear there is a way to build a package from source and then install it with dpkg. Was here in the list just today, I think.
One other solution, if you are reluctant to mixing is to upgrade all to testing or even unstable, but can't tell you if that's worse then mixing, YMMV. I've been lucky with both. I have one system running stable with some testing and unstable packages, no problems. My laptop is running unstable. Only one issue on a kernel update. It gave me the opportunity to learn how to repair my system and thought me to *always* keep a backup kernel image installed ;)
But then, *again* YMMV

P.S In the future you might try using more informative/descriptive subjects. Just think this list has about 150 messages per day and most subscribers will not even open your mail if it doesn't have a good subject.
