No, it is a bug which the maintainer closed against my opinion.

Do you have any idea? I tried and disabled everything I could think of with no 
change by minicom -s.
My serial port _is_ ttyS0 but the program is always not responding to any key: 
I have to kill it from another console. The only exception is minicom -s (I 
am able to change configuration).
